Whilst all the up-coming marathons and races in South Africa have been cancelled until mid-April at least, we can be thankful that we are still able to run on the streets and trails. France has recently gone into a lock down which, among other things, restricts runners to only training within a 2km radius of their home.
It’s been reported by the Huffington Post that a French runner, Elisha Nochomovitz, killed some time in confinement by completing a marathon distance by running up and down his 7 meter long apartment balcony in Toulouse, France. It took him just over 6 hours and 48 minutes.
We have to give him credit for dedication! Check out the video below which was tweeted by ShanghaiEye.
It might be boring to be quarantined at home but Elisha Nochomovitz managed to find a way to burn the time. The 32-year-old French man, a restaurant worker who is currently furloughed from his job, kept running back and forth inside a small space. pic.twitter.com/wBXf9kIOvG
